Success Verses Fair Weather

In a global way of discussion we see many people living the best life and having increasing wealth....yet it has been the downfall of many. What I mean is that you can be the most successful and wealthy person....but how you get there shouldn't determine your faith. I see so many people that are interviewed about their wealth and they always say oh thank God, ect.

Here's where I get a funny feeling in my gut and I have to take what they are saying with a grain of salt. Your either an honest person making an honest living or your dishonest and not living for God. Let me break it down for you and explain where I am coming from. The incredibly diverse ways people have become rich have me scratching my head for sure. But let me be down and dirty asking you a few direct questions.

• Are you like me where I came from nothing and I make decent money and able to provide, yet I stay humble because I never forget my roots.

• Are you just so successful and it comes easily to you and life is good?

• Was handed to you and it's affected your soul and mentality?

• Why do you thank God for your money yet don't live for him?

• Are you a "Fair Weather Christian"?

Having roots that go back to struggle, being broke and really living on the tightest dollar ever in my younger years to living comfortable is humbling. I'll be completely honest with you...going from having a job...to not making much and relying on the local Hearts and Calories...aka the food bank is a life lesson.

Some people that have money to play with and show off are the poorest and most miserable humans alive. They put on a facade of happy go lucky glory to me and I thank God for the millions in my 14 businesses and fancy rides. But when it goes south and they lose money or a bad deal goes down, who are they praying to? I can say it's not Jesus Christ and The Father.....it's to their idols like cars, money status, ect.

I will put it bluntly and this might sting but I don't care... everyone has dealt with this somehow: non-christian people are misled and the Christians are given a black eye. It's said it's all based on perspective and I don't completely agree. It has to be a strong faith and communication, trust and relying on God that matters. Anyone can have a perspective on anything....but do you have a firm foundation in God?

Some people here have had Easy Money and they let it turn them into the sourest meanest little pricks out there. I always say every mountain has two lows and one high. You can come from nothing and end up on top financially....but you can always fall back into nothing really quick with the wrong attitude.

Think On These Things And Stay Humble And Real. I don't want to make millions if I won't have the right attitude.
