Easter; A faith-filled day or chasing a rabbit?

Happy Easter everyone!

I'm writing to you in regards to the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ and His Blood that washes us clean. How beautiful is that, knowing that when we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts and souls, that He will always wash us clean?

John 3:16 is such a beautiful verse about God's sacrifice of His only begotten Son so that we may have eternal life in Heaven, clean and forgiven. But it is thrown around by so many people, that it has lost it's only true meaning; a sad reality that we must face concerning the unsaved.

How much does it take to drive home the facts that this isn't about the eggs and a rabbit? Name two things that will not get you to Heaven? Jesus Christ Himself even said in John 14:6 "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

I'm so sorry for the distractions in this world that the mainstream media and humankind are spouting out every day. There is a good Book that has all the answers and praises that you could ever find. There is the one and only way to get true salvation and forgiveness, and that is through Jesus Christ, not artificial objects.

In order to keep an open mind about the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ, you need to remember the why. He was being whipped, forced to carry a Cross, then hung, pierced and left to die while asking God for another way. This is what makes it so amazing three days later. Patience while paying attention to the history before the resurrection is crucial to understand. Knowing the why is far more important than chasing silly rabbits eggs.

I hope that gets you better understanding of how far-fetched things are in this day in age. Read the post with a discernment and don't get caught up in it. God is forgiveness, salvation and peace.
