Refreshing Rain & A New Faith

I absolutely enjoy this time of year, with the leaves just starting to turn colors and fall off. Virginia is one of those states that beats to the drums off autumn, with a gentle rain and cooler temps. The higher you go up the mountain, the more color you see in the trees and vegetation. It might be for many a beautiful time of year, and I take that title proudly.

But with the season changing comes the long awaited cooler weather, but also the realization that the holidays are coming. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the two biggest seasons of the year, with a dose of stress, families, etc. But with all that said, there is nothing like knowing that one individual that was born on Christmas, that can wash away all your stress, sins, worries and give you a new faith. Jesus Christ can wash you cleaner than a refreshing rain ever will.

You don't have to have it all together, nor do you have to have the biggest faith, biggest present etc, in order for Him to keep your heart in His hands.

Just remember that verse in Romans 8:18 "The struggles of our current time are not to be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us in a later time".

It is not by works that we are saved, but by asking Jesus Christ into your heart, asking Him to forgive you and wash you cleaner than any rain ever will.

All you need is a faith that is the size of a mustard seed, and God can still work with that.
