What Is Your Leading Line?

In the world of photography and editing photos, making sure there are some leading lines in the photo is vital. They are lines in a photo that "lead" your eyes through the picture; down a road, river, fence line, ect. Unless you are very good at what you are doing, any photograph needs that ability to lead you through it.

I love taking pictures of rivers and waterfalls, not just for the picture but the tranquility and peace that they provide. Some days I get really good pictures that show the flow of water, and other times it's a toss-up. But that can determine how long I'm going to edit the photo to try and make it work. Some editing apps like Lightroom which I use, have really good tools to clean up the "noises" and clutter in a picture.

Some times we need to get into a meeting with God and ask Him to help us get rid of our clutter and noise, so we can see His leading lines in the Bible and our lives. Asking God to edit our hearts and minds to see and hear Him is important and refreshing, like a river flowing through the valley.

Sometimes we have to get into the river to see the Leading Lines that God so beautifully painted. His blood is a river that washes us clean so we are spotless in the picture of our lives. Let God know you want to Edit your heart, show you the leading Lines in His Word, and get rid of the Noise from your life. Asking Him into your life is an incredible feeling and very important, like putting your name on a photograph is like Him claiming you as His own.
