Receiving a gift from anyone is always welcome, especially during the holidays. But while it is a yearly tradition celebrated by millions of people around the world, so many have truly forgotten what salvation and Christianity is really about. When Christ was born and He started his teachings and healing, it was not without discouraging troubles. While Jesus Christ and His disciples were together, He told them to go out and preach the Gospel to the people, knowing what was in store.
We still have the same order to preach the Gospel, and tell people about the gift of salvation. All the while we are under even more persecution and sacrifice, that always goes unreported unless it fits the narrative. But couple that fact with the sad fact of rejection and the fact that there are so many false religions in the world that are misrepresenting the Truth. But with that being said there comes so many wide open angles to salvation that so many people get stuck on. The main theme of many religions is based on what they can do to get into heaven, or their interpretation of it.
But we as believers know that we don't have to do works or teach false doctrine to obtain God's unmatchable and permanent gift of salvation.
Whether it is by works, speaking in tongues, or any one of the wide variety of options out there, so many religions have required people to stray. Whether you are Catholic and praying to Mary, or Latter-day Saints and the Mormons, who were founded by a human being .... It's so far off. Jesus Christ taught us that after He was crucified and took on our shame, that the sacrifices were not necessary or what forgave our sins. He told us that asking for forgiveness, admitting that we are sinners, and accepting Him as Our Savior is the only way.
God is the lamp unto our feet and the light unto our path. No body comes into heaven without Jesus Christ in their hearts, truly asking for forgiveness and accepting Him in their hearts. There is only one way and I am fine with that, knowing that I have a promise of heaven and eternity. Because one day all those many different ideologies are going to be a very very unpleasant and painful wake-up call for so many lost souls.
"That is the True measurement of Salvation, to admit that we were sinners, asking for forgiveness and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
2. "It is a permanent gift from Christ, ensuring our promised
eternity, not on works-based ideology pushed by so many false religions construding the Truth.

Romans 10:13 "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved'".
