Four Undeniable Facts

One thing that is a constant in this world is change. We live in a very kinetic society that doesn't always value even the most static of moments. The grandparents of the earlier years definitely understood the incredible benefit of simplicity...sitting on the porch drinking coffee, living a simple honest life. I heard a gentleman quote in a documentary about his grandparents saying : "we have done so much with so little for so long, that we could do anything with nothing in no time flat. How true is that powerful statement.

One thing I love about living in the rural parts of the Shenandoah valley in Virginia..... growing up with meager means has taught me to enjoy life more as well as the truth that life gives what you put into it. God blesses those who are meek and hardworking, and those who trust in Him! I will be honest and admit I made mistakes and that I learned some harsh lessons the hard way. But the bigger lesson and the hardest truth to swallow was that I am still someone but I have to remember it's not by my own works but by the Lord I'll be a born again Christian.

History has proven that God has done amazing things in the most unsuspecting of people. Paul was persecuting Christians in the Bible yet he was stopped on a journey by God and wrote one of the most profound books of the Bible...Paul. He used Billy Graham who wasn't interested in ministry to become world renowned as a God fearing individual. God can and will use you for His glory. We may not understand the reason or feel qualified. But we have to remember that Paul and Billy Graham weren't quote on quote qualified in our humble human terms.

But you have to realize that He qualifies who he sends. He sent Jesus Christ who was born of a simple virgin with her own struggles and a sinful body.....yet he preached, forgave, saved souls, and is sitting on God's right hand in heaven. Jesus Christ is interceding on our behalf.

Our daily struggles and whatever we may be having a hard time are not unnoticed by God. He can either heal when you ask Him or use it to His glory. Whether that is to teach you and I or for the people charged with taking care of people....doctors , ect. You aren't unimportant or not good enough for God the Father. So when the devil gets in your mind give it to Jesus Christ.

  • God just wants a simple honest heart

  • God takes care of His people and those who cry upon His name

  • He can equip and strengthen who He sends

  • He can use difficulties for His glory.
