The "What-If" Focus.

As the sun rises on our day and we pour some bold coffee, whatever it is that you are thinking about can really affect your whole day. So many things to do and everything that have been going on, yet it's not difficult to get bogged down and say "What-If? But there are so many different ways to ask that question. It is up to you and I to focus on the good or bad, and without God it's going to be pretty difficult to be positive.

  1. So what are you going to focus on?

  2. What is your go-to what-if?

  3. What or Who is your best anchor?

  • We need to think about a lot of things in life whether it's comfortable or not. But I'm speaking from experience that I cannot see the positive aspect of life if I only look at the negative. I must be honest with you and encourage you that if small steps each day is all you have, that's all God wants. So let's focus on God and trust him with our future.

  • Who you focus on for reprieve and safety is rather important. Jesus Christ should be your only choice, not everything in the world. Jesus Christ is our future, our present and our Rock and He is who we should focus on. Anyone who focuses on the world's lies and deceit will always have the negative what if. Is your "What-If based on fear, or is it focused on trust?

  • With any boat or ship of any size, it is usually stopped with skill and an anchor, holding it still in the port. We as humans are always being tossed around the ocean before even making it to shore. So whoever or whatever you use to hold your anchor in port is important realize. What port are you in?

Hebrews 6:19,

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure".

I hope this was encouraging for you as you trust the Lord every day. My wife and I are focusing on making prayer a daily habit, whether it's a meal, travel or whatever. It is important to focus your life and mind on the only One that handle all your "What-If's" with ease.

Hebrews 6:20: "...where Jesus has entered on our behalf. He has become a forerunner on our behalf, a high priest forever".
